Velocity Raptor

Velocity Raptor must travel near the speed of light to save the world! Take on an adventure in 2+1 dimensions, in the the Lair of relativity

  • In Velocity Raptor, players traverse through a challenging variety of physics puzzles based on the theory and properties of Special Relativity. Set in of lair of levels where the player approach’s the speed of light, players will explore the results of relativistic motion through time dilation, length contraction, the Doppler effect, and various paradoxes in order to progress.

    Players will:

    • Learn and apply the Lorentz Equations to analyze changes in space, time, and frequency at relativistic speeds

    • Develop scientific reasoning, quantitative problem-solving, and conceptual modeling skills

    • Practice analyzing accurate physics simulations and predicting outcomes based on given properties
