Follow the trail of the life cycle of single-use plastics, and uncover policies that can plug pollution leaking into our oceans.

  • The Plastic Pipeline is a game that helps students explore real-world policies to reduce plastic pollution and protect our oceans. Set in the fictional world of Plasti City, players will investigate policies, interview characters, and uncover clues to weigh the pros and cons of different solutions across the plastic product life cycle—from production to consumption to disposal.

    Players will:

    • Learn and apply knowledge about public policy, environmental action, and human behavior

    • Develop critical thinking and perspective-taking skills

    • Practice decision-making and problem-solving in a game-based context while exploring real policy debates
