Welcome to Congress, are your students ready to explore the legislative process as they craft a bill?
Students will select a district to represent in the House of Representatives and get to know their constituents by reviewing letters and digging into survey data.
When they select an issue that's important to the people who live in their district, it is time for them to jump into the law-making process! Students will take their issue to the House and start crafting their bill.
Can they make the compromises necessary to get the bill passed by the House and Senate and make a law, all while balancing their constituents' needs? -
