  • In The Madness and/or Widsom of Crowds, players learn and explore social network theory through a variety of interactives and puzzles. Using real-world examples and scenarios as context, players test connections and influence, and solve network-based challenges to see how ideas and behaviors spread across groups of people.

    Players will:

    • Learn and apply concepts from network science, including simple contagion, complex contagion, thresholds, and bonding and bridging

    • Develop critical thinking and systems thinking about how group structures shape individual and collective behavior

    • Practice modeling and experimentation in a game-based context
